About our home

SWAPS OR POINTS SWAPS IN LOW SEASON ONLY (June and November 2019 still an option)

Neem Tree is a spacious, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished house set in a beautiful mature garden. It is a relaxed beach house in a fantastic location, but it is not high luxury. It has a gorgeous 12 x 6m infinity pool, large pool house and stunning sea views. There is access on to the unspoilt white beach of the award winning Kuruwitu Marine conservancy from where you can snorkel in the azure waters metres from the shore. All 3 bedrooms have air-conditioning and are ensuite. The house is fully staffed with a housekeeper, a groundsman and a cook. 40 km north of Mombasa and only 20 minutes from Kilifi. There is a world class golf course 10 minutes away. We rely on the income from our holiday rentals so unfortunately can only consider points swaps during low season.

Neighbourhood

If you can bear to drag yourself away from the fabulous pool and beach - the world class PGA Vipingo Ridge golf course is less than a 10 minute drive away. The elegant club house has a good restaurant in a beautiful setting. They also have a very pleasant Beach Club within walking distance to the house which is open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday as well as dinner on Wednesdays.
Kilifi which has supermarkets, some nice restaurants and a bustling little town is a 25 minute drive away to the North. Dhow trips can be taken up the creek here. Diving and a multitude of water sports (sailing, windsurfing, ski-ing etc) are available at the Mnarani Club. Malindi is a 1.5 hour drive Northwards.
Head 30 minutes south and Mtwapa has several excellent restaurants and tourist activities. The Bamburi Nature trail is 35 minutes from the house as is City Mall. Nyali is less than 40 minutes away with a cinema, shopping complex, hotels and night clubs. Old town Mombasa (Fort Jesus etc) is approx 45 minutes drive depending on the traffic.

Buzzy restaurants
Vipingo Ridge Beach Bar - open at lunchtimes is close by. In Kilifi - Mandharini beach bar, Nautilus, Kilifi Boatyard. Mtwapa - Monsoons and La Marina. Plenty of good restaurants can be recommended for those going on day trips to Watamu and Malindi.
Day tripping
Mombasa Old Town, Arabuko Sokoke forest, Malindi, Watamu
