About our home

Our beautiful home was converted from a farm to a wonderful spacious family home. We retained all of the original features. Thick stone walls, high ceilings, beams and arches. It's suitated in a quiet village opposite open fields.
On entering you're greeted with a large high ceilinged beamed hall way. Large double doors lead onto an atrium covered with bougainvilla.
The kitchen is located in the oldest part of the house formally the stables. Lovely traditional Maltese pattern tiles line the wall with arched stone ceiling. We have an American fridge freezer, range cooker and dish washer. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils.
There is an internal dining room for 8 people just off the kitchen. A few small stone step lead you into the large reception room with floor to ceiling glass windows and doors with view and access into the tropical garden.
The reception room is one of my favouite rooms. Beautiful beamed ceiliing and wonderful vast stone fire place as focal feature.
Up stairs we have three double bedrooms and one twin room. All have their own bathroom. The master bedroom has a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and the top room two levels of roof terraces to enjoy the sunset swinging in a hammock.

The garden is tropical and lush is early summer. There are two covered dining areas to enjoy al fesco dining. A tiled pool and Indonisian breeze house allow you to totally enjoy the house without the need to move!
A haven of relaxation and calm.

We lived here for 15 years and bought our family up there. It's a very special place.

Our neighbours are wonderful. Maria takes care of the house for us with the help of her son Richard. There will be a charge for cleaning services on arrival £150. This is for preparing the house for your arrival and departure. If you require Maria to clean during your stay please pay her directly. Maria May cook the odd meal if you ask too! Again please pay her directly.

During the high season June/July/August points will increase to 300. They will also be an electricity and water charge payable on arrival of £100 per week. These are both big expenses during peak season.

Xlendi bay is our nearest bay for swimming. A lovely small fishing cove with plenty of restaurants and bars. You can sun bathe on the rocks or take a walk around the bay following the path up the steep slope to arrive on sun kissed rocks and wind carved caves. The water is deep here but worth it. Take your snorkle.
If you fancy a boat trip then look no further than Louis at Xlendi Watersports. He will look after your every need on the water.
Other beaches on Gozo. For sand Ramla and beach bars, San Blas is very pretty but expect a steep climb back up the hill. Worth noting in summer beaches are busy so go early before the crowds.
