About our home

Our home is part of a small block perched on the edge of a valley with wonderful views of the sea and unspoilt countryside.
We have large open plan kitchen lounge area with large glass patio doors and fly screens leading to outside area with table and chairs and a barbecue for outside dining.
There are two double bedrooms with balconies a full bathroom and separate shower room, bedrooms and lounge have ceiling fans.


More about us

  1. We are John and Delsie a retired couple living in the sun we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
    We have never done home exchange before but we do enjoy travel so we are keen to give it a try as we are retired we are not restricted to when we travel.

Where is it?


Apart from being in itself a picturesque village Xaghra is rich in historical heritage and has plenty to offer its visitors. Situated on the north east of the capital Victoria on a stretch of high ground Xaghra is encircled by the beautiful bays of Ramla Ghajn Barrani and Malsaforn while several valleys carress this lovely village. Ramla bay with it unique red sand is the best beach in Malta and can be viewed from our balcony. Here one can find the neolithic temples of Ggantija which are acknowledged to be the oldest free standing structures in the world. The village boasts other attractions including the mythological calypso cave mentioned in homers odyssey. Also the beautiful parish basilica in the village square where you will also find several bars and restaurants and local shops. It is perfect island for walkers and a short ferry ride away from Malta. Gozo is rated as one of the best scuba diving spots in the Mediterranean and caters for everyone from novice to the more demanding.
