Quite a nice house kept to very good standards. It is a two-storey building but we live in second floor which is accessable by a lift. The basement is used as a garage/work place and also part of it is like an apartment. It comprises a hall at the centre of the house with other rooms surrounding it. It is a very comfortable house with stoves and fire places to keep it warm during the winter months. In summer we prefer using the basement especially when the weather is very hot. We have a small garden at the back which is ideal for barbeques during summer and we also have a very small pool ideal for little kids to splash into during the warm summer days.
We live on a hill and is a very quiet village of about 1000 inhabitants. One can enjoy spectacular sea views during walks and in winter the areas surrounding us is all green and is great for country walks. We live just 5 minutes drive from the beach with its clear blue sea. We have both pebbly and sandy beaches near to our village but one can visit other villages which are very near. Imagine to cross from one side of the island to the other you need only about 25 minutes drive. Gozo which is part of the Maltese Islands is also rich in historical sites like Ggantija Temples which date back 6000 years - oldest in the world; fortified city of Cittadella dating 1500's and a great culture. In summer there are the village feasts with spectacular fireworks everyone can enjoy.
I am Mary 36 years and my husband Andrew 37 years both Mathematics teachers. We have a son 10 years and daughter 6 years. We love nature and during holidays we like to indulge ourselves in natural scenery of trees, lakes, waterfalls, snow and most of all meet other people and cultures.
