About our home

white greece style with two pillars on the terrace with red brick coloured ceramic , large " baie vitrée" spacious living room, constructed in the feng shui style to bring more light in the house, buddhuist statues (as my husband works for a feng shui shop and i'm a reiki student and also work at a spa's reception desk - we are both artist so you'll see lots of paintings more than furniture) most furnished places are the 2 bedrooms , 1 with black and beige furniture and the other one beige only. large kitchen with strict minimum, no microwave though even the bathroom was designed in the feng shui style. some plants in the house place in specific places like in a corner near the master bedroom to take out all negatives vibes, pink marble ceramic in the bathroom and toilet.

house a bit secluded from main road and in a kinda village atmosphere.. you'll see also the mauritian hospitality here. 5 mins from main road though , taxis are the main mode of transport here and every 3 mins you get one, or if you want to really wanna know the 'real mauritius' then ya can wait for the public transport i'e the bus. the best aspect of the house is the quiet environment, fresh air and green scenery, waking up to the birds songs or smoke coming from the neighbours kitchen as she uses wood to cook... don't worry we don't use that , if we want a barbecue we take a taxi and in 10mins we are in the city to have one at the restaurant..

i'm Veronique and my husband is Yash and my sister that lives with us Christelle, my husband is hindu and its real frequent people from different culture to get married here, he works at a feng shui shop and his real interest are crystals and feng shui ways so are mine, i work at the reception desk for a spa and we are both artist ...why we chose to put our house here is because we really wanna get to know more about different cultures and meet new people and most of all travel ;-)
