About our home

My home is on a Beach on the north east of the Island. It is part of the Radisson Blu Hotel complex. It benefits from the use of most of the hotel facilities at a discounted price. There is a boat house with water sports. There are 3 tennis courts, archery and many other sports available. There is a large spa and gym pool. There are two other outdoor pools plus a plunge pool at the villa. All bedrooms have magnificent sea views. Maid service with cooking can be provided at an extra cost. Beautifully furnished in a contemporary style, with the same deco pack as the hotel rooms and apartments.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

This is a beautiful quiet part of the island nestling amongst sugar cane fields. Small villages with interesting markets selling local food and produce. Fresh fish and vegetables can be bought on the street markets in the village of Riviere du Rampart just a km away from Azuri. The town on Grand Baie in the North is a 20 minute drive away. Here you find lovely boutiques and galleries. Lots of smart water side bars and restaurants and also night clubs if one is interested.

Buzzy restaurants
Three restaurants on the resort. Close by many excellent local restaurants.
Cool bars
Buzzy bars in Grand Baie. One just opposite the house, close enough but too far to be affected by the noise!
Cozy cafés
Wonderful Cafe in the Hotel with an outside terrace.
Retail therapy
Shopping mall of La Crossette 20 minutes drive away.
Bit of culture
Capital Port Louis 30 minutes away. Several museums and culture. Sugar Plantation La Bourdonais is 15 minutes by car.
Walks in the park
Around the Complex and also adjoining river so a fair walk can be done.
Spot of exercise
Gym, large gym outdoor pool, tennis, cycling, swimming, kayaking, SUP, sailing dingy.
Day tripping
Lovely boat trips from Grand Baie to islands in the north with snorkelling. Diving trips. Day trips to the tea plantations in the centre of the island eg Bois Cherie and many more. Large Lake area in the South Central Plateau. Trips and excursions in the Rain Forrest of the island. Climbing the many rock formations of Le Puce and many others.
