In historic Center of a gem of a Intranational Heritag City. Close to restaurants, bars, music,shopping, and transportation. Located on a huge garden creating a quiet retreat in the heart of town! Terrace on main level and roof offer views of las Monjas and the mountains.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Just downhill from the historic city center, El Jardin and Parroquia. We are located in the heart of downtown on a large garden filled with birds and exotic blooming plants.Good restaurants, shopping and bars with live music within two blocks in every direction. We are also within walking distance of the organic market and just about anything you would like to do and see in San Miguel. Taxis are available for a mere 3.00 or less.

Buzzy restaurants
Aperi, Mare Nostrum, Bistro 300, Zumo Casa Limon, and many more are easy walks of less than 2 blocks.
Cool bars
Bar Berlin has great food and drinks is about 1.5 blocks up Umaran towards the center. Along the way is Azotea, Spanish tappa bar, Mama Mia,and Sirena Gorda.These are only a few of my favorites.
Cozy cafés
Mesa Grande on Zaceteros and Pila Seca, 2 half blocks away. Mexican coffee is excellent. We have little cafes on just about any street, most serving organic coffee, local pastries and all exotic coffee drinks. Dont skip Mexican hot chocolate! Itts thick and delicious!
Retail therapy
One block up hill begins a shopping experience of rare porportion, shoes, jewelry souveniers and luxury goods are easy to enjoy on just about any block in the centro .
Bit of culture
San Miguel is a great music town with live music every night in many bars and restauranspecial performace in our old Angela Peralta theater is
Walks in the park
El Jardin in the center of town. Parke Jaurez about 4 blocks easy walk.
Spot of exercise
Zumba in the Parke Jaurez, yoga, pilates and gyms in every neighborhood. At 6500 feet walking and exploring is best excercise.
Day tripping
Delores Hidalgo for Mexican pottery, Guajaunato, old silver city with great museums and music, thermal pools just outside town easy taxi ride, Atotonilco small town with impressive church built in 1500s
