About our home

Stately, elegant old fashioned hacienda -style house with 3 bedroom suites in 3 wings surrounding an open grass courtyard with gardens and fountain. Very large rooms with high ceilings. Lots of natural light and air augmented by skylights. All season house, the sw facing aspect and thick walls enables house stay cool in summer and warm in winter. Maximum privacy and tranquility. superbly located in Guadiana, 3 minute walk to Main Street and 12 minute walk to the Jardin and Parroquia. Grocery stores, good restaurants abound close by in all directions. Dogs and people meet up in our pocket park.

  1. We are an energetic sixtyish couple who spend winters in San Miguel de Allende Mexico and Summers in British Columbia. Spring and fall we are free to travel! We prefer to spend at least 2 weeks based in one place.

  2. Peter is a professional jazz guitarist and Chipper owns and operates a small hotel in San Miguel.

  3. We love hiking and skiing, books, museums, concerts, films and fine food

Three minute walk to main street Ancha San Antonio passing our pocket neighbourhood park. Twelve minute walk down Aldama, the street of the weddings, to principal plaza and Parroquia. Many fine restaurants within a block or two radius, plus the main organic market with a great food court. Quiet, private, lovely, neighbourhood of choice among ex-pats
