About our home

One of the few highly sought after villas with its own private rooftop! San Miguel de Allende without a rooftop is not San Miguel.

Tastefully designer-decorated villa in the brand-new development in Capilla de Piedra, a private gated community in the Atascadero neighborhood. A short 700 meters (10 minutes) downhill walk to El Jardín (Downtown Main Church).

If the walk is not your cup of tea, you can always opt to take a $50 pesos cab ride or an uber to the Centro. There is also a FREE shuttle which is part of the development which goes to and from downtown from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The villa is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom with the utmost attention to detail. In addition to the gorgeously appointed bedrooms, this villa also has a beautiful rooftop terrace, a main-floor terrace, a sunny reading room foyer, a laundry room with a brand new washer and dryer, and plenty of storage space along with an assigned parking spot so no parking drama here. (visitor parking also available)

As part of the Capilla de piedra development guests will also have access to the pool, steam room, sauna, gym, squash courts, racketball courts, paddle tennis courts a stone-throw away from the villa. ***(Please note that due to COVID19 these amenities may be affected)****

Lastly, the villa does include cleaning service which comes once per week. If you are after your ultimate Mexican retreat experience she can easily come more often for a small fee. Maribel can also make some incredible Mexican meals as well if you are interested in a delicious home-cooked meal we can easily organize that.

Lastly please keep in mind that access to the villa does require going up one set of stairs and another to the rooftop patio and that Capilla de Piedra Development is located a short uphill walk from the center. My wife and I exclusively walk when we are there but those with limited walking abilities might choose the taxi/uber or shuttle back up from the center.

*Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the inside of the property
**Being part of a gated community means you are expected to show respect for the other neighbors in the community during your stay. Events and parties are prohibited
*** Guests are expected to cover a daily cleaning fee of $300 pesos (15USD) payable prior to arrival by PayPal or bank transfer.
*****Please note that due to COVID19 the community amenities such as pool, gym, tennis court, club house and shuttle may be affected
