My home has a wonderful vibration. As soon as you enter the gates you can see through the house, to the terrazzo and the mountains and Lake Chapala, the largest lake in Mexico. Chapala (look it up on the internet) has the 2nd best weather in the world. The house is approximately 20-25 minutes from the Guadalajara airport. The house is recently renovated with ceramic tile floors, high cellings and incredible views from every room. In addition to the the two bedroom there is a large office. I have two small cats that are indoor/outdoor cats. The only care they need is food and water twice a day. They seldom use the litter box. Maid and Gardner are included twice a week. The golf course is walking distance from the house. Some of the activities available locally are: Golf Tennis Theme Park (Amusement Park) Shopping Sightseeing Restaurants Boating Swimming Biking Hiking Fitness Center/Gym Health/Beauty Spa Antiquing Cinemas/Movie Theaters Live Theatre Museums Horseback Riding
I am a retired woman who lived in Hawaii for 20 plus years and decide to make my home here. My family is in San Francisco and San Diego. I want to be able to visit them more often with the ability to have my private space. This may be an ideal situation with the home exchange. It is important that who ever comes to my home likes cats.
The house is in a gated community with a guard gate to enter and 24 hour police security. The Chapala/Ajijic area is extremely safe with mostly retired Americans and Canadians. It is an Artist community with many galleries and good and diverse restaurants available. The area is secluded and a car would make it easier, although there is local bus service. Guadalajara is a 45 minute drive away and is the 2nd largest city in Mexico, with everything a big city has to offer. To sum it up.....it's a magical place.
