About our home

Edificio Vizcaya is probably amongst the top 5 historical buildings in Mexico City’s downtown. It is a monumental two-wing style building built in the 1920s by a famous architect - a student of Gustave Eiffel- who created nothing less than a work of art on Bucareli Avenue. When you enter the massive open hallway between its two wings, you also enter another timezone, an altogether different Era of grandeur. It likely surpasses the very Parisian architecture of the early XX Century it was emulating, and you definitely feel the flair of Les Années Folles... only here the crazy years are not a gone by era! The elevators are original working Berlin Flohr lifts from the 20s. All of this before one enters our beautiful and airy apartment, newly renovated with great attention to detail.
