Neighbourhood

Because of the nature and size of the village, Cuastecomate is mainly a place for rest and relaxation, although it counts with a variety of beach front restaurants for a Mexican culinary experience. The near towns (Melaque and Barra de Navidad) provide a wide variety of services. For nature lovers the area has a variety of places to visit including estuaries, volcanoes, a bird Island, turtle and caiman sanctuaries and beautiful beaches. Whether water or land based, the area offers most of the activities that you can expect for a tropical environment.
