“We stayed in August 2014 at Carolina & Manuel's Mexican Mansion. The city was fascinating from the Mayan Ruins, to the surrounding towns, to the various historical Museums, & the many wonderful restaurants. As interesting as Mexico is, all were surpassed by the hospitality of the Carolina and family. We were met at the airport on arrival by our designated Schauffer Leonel, who not only transported us around Mexico, he also acted as our Tour Guide. Our Chef was Lao & her assistant was Angela & although workers, wonderful workers, they were friendly & more part of the family than employees. This Home Exchange was all made possible by Carolina's organizing & recommended Itinenery. Supported by Manuel & Makayla, it was an unforgettable holiday. They have become good friends, & I can only give them my highest recommendation, who have since stayed with us in Coffs Harbour. Cheers, Laurie.”

“We spent 3 weeks at the Cosignani home in North West Mexico City during Christmas 2011. It was our first exchange. Everything including the maid/housekeeper and the chauffeur were as advertised. The Cosignani's were gracious, friendly and helpful. Mexico City is a huge place and everything is 1 hour away by car. The home is located in a upscale gated community. The Mexico City Anthropolagical Museum and the Temple Mayor Museum are in the top 10 of the world. The Cosignani's treated our home so gently, we could not even tell they were there.”

“I got to know Carolina and Manuel when they came to New York for Christmas with two of their beautiful children. They left my home in impeccable order. When it came time for me to travel to Mexico, to the dentist!, I stayed with them and was treated as one of the family- even though the house was under construction at the time. I was even given the name of their dentist, and Carolina waited for me during surgery! As you can see from the photos, Carolina has finished the home with exquisite taste and attention to detail.. I recommend this exchange particularly for those who would like to use Mexico City as a jumping off place for other towns nearby. It is near the edge of the city. The use of the chauffeur is a must, in my opinion, unless you are used to driving in Mexico. Both the driver and the cook are warm and helpful individuals.”

“De todos las 15 trocas de casa que ya realizamos, la troca con Carolina y Manuel en México fue sin duda la mejor de todas. Pasamos 10 días muy agradables en compañía de Carolina y Manuel que nos recibieran de brazos abiertos en su linda casa en México DF el julio pasado (Julio/2011). Además de la hospitalidad familiar, nos dieran todo el suporte para descubrir la ciudad, sus alrededores y nos ofrecerán los servicios de su chofer personal para nuestra mejor locomoción. También tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer la alta gastronomía mexicana e internacional de la Ciudad de México y compartir momentos muy felices con Manuel y Carolina en los mejores restaurantes de la ciudad. Acerca de la casa, su ubicación es la mejor posible, pues permite una temporada tranquila en un ambiente de bosques en el medio de la naturaleza, algo muy raro en una de las mayores urbes como México DF. La decoración interna es estupenda y el condominio ofrece la práctica de modalidades deportivas y rutas para caminadas, paseos de bicicleta, etc. Sobre México City, es una impresionante metrópolis cosmopolita, con las mejores oportunidades de gastronomía, entretenimiento y numerosos atractivos culturales. Desde la casa de Carolina, visitamos numerosos sitios históricos, como las monumentales ruinas de Teotihuacán (Unesco World Heritage Site), el Templo Mayor Asteca, Museo Nacional de Antropología, Ballet Folklórico Nacional en el Palacio de Bellas Artes, entre tantos otros atractivos que México DF y sus alrededores ofrecen. No solamente tuvimos una de las mejores experiencias de nuestras vidas, conociendo y nos acercando de las culturas pre-colombinas y la historia de México, como descansamos en una linda casa y hicimos una verdadera amistad con Manuel y Carolina, que nos recibieran en una atmosfera muy familiar y hospitalera. Por todas las razones supra mencionadas, recomiendo enfáticamente un cambio de casas con la Casa de la Familia Olea-Lezcano, sin duda la mejor experiencia de Exchange que ya tuvimos! They received us with the best hospitality and gave us all the support and information's in order to explore Mexico City, like offering us their personal driver! We enjoyed spectacular dinners with Carolina and Manuel in the bests restaurants of Mexico City! The house is located in the best neighborhood of México City, with a very good and natural environment, something very rare in big cities. The inside decoration and design is perfect and in their condo you can practice sports like tennis or enjoy a walk in a natural and safe atmosphere. Mexico City is a cosmopolitan metropolis which offer the best opportunities concerning high-gastronomy, entertainment and cultural places to visit. From Carolina´s house, we visit a lot of historical and cultural places, like Teotihuacan ruins (Unesco World Heritage Site), Aztecs Main Temple (Templo Mayor Asteca), National Museum of Anthropology and enjoyed a very nice presentation of Ballet Folklorico Nacional in Palacio Bellas-Artes. We just have one of the bests experiences travelling, discovering each day a lot of keys about the pre-Hispanic cultures in Mexico, and also relaxed in a very beautiful house, enjoying a familiar atmosphere and making a beautiful friendship with Carolina and Manuel.
