Our home is nested in the center of a Private Residential area called "Paseo de Andalucía" of Playa del Carmen México.
Built about 10 years ago and used as our main home we enjoy living here, our neighborhood is quiet and nice. We are close to the beach without having to deal with the frenzy activity of the downtown or 5th Ave.
The house is clean safe and comfortable, equipped with mini split Air Conditioned units for each room, Hot and Cold Water, Stove, Refrigerator, Pots, pans, chinaware and cutlery, we love coffee therefore we have three different coffee makers, (Drip for American, Small pressure pot for Espresso, and the one quick cup for Cuban) our dining table for 6 persons, a couple of rocking chairs, TV, Wireless Internet, and 2 bicycles also available.
Our kids play in a large green area located at 50 meters from the house; you can watch them from the windows or from the coffee table at the outside little porch.
Living here is secure, interesting and fun. We invite you to come and enjoy at your own pace the white sand and sunny beaches of the Mexican Riviera, One day going to Cancun and another to Tulum., any day, night or on the weekend, walk, Dine and Shop at the Fifth Avenue, go to dance some "salsa" and try one "mojito" or listen to the mariachi and drink no more than two shots of tequila.
For the more adventurous, take your time and plan your own tour to uncover the ancient Mayan Culture, visit Mayan villages, climb the mysterious Pyramids of Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba and Uxmal., dive into Cenote Sac Actun (one of the longest underwater caves in the world) and travel through the sacred veins of the underground rivers or just go to snorkel at Xel-Ha blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
We are blessed having unique attractions, like Xcaret, Xplor, all are exceptional parks, a must visit for tourist and visitors, but be sure that all of the above cannot be compared with the real experience of staying here experiencing the Mexican Way of Life.
The Yucatan peninsula has a lot more to offer, you could take a ferry to Cozumel, or travel a couple of hours and visit the Island of Hol-Box, try the immense variety of flavors of the Mexican food (not only tacos).
If you want to slow down, just make friends, play soccer and learn Spanish, and if you already speak Spanish, go to the community house as volunteer to teach English.
We want to give our kids the opportunity to practice English in a real setting for a minimum of six months to a year period.
If you are looking to do the same to learn Spanish and at the same time to enjoy the benefit of the Mayan Culture, Cenotes, Mexican Caribbean Beaches at the Riviera Maya without expending large amounts of money in the all inclusive resorts, please contact us.
