About our home

Our penthouse condo in Playa del Carmen is located on Calle 42 between the famous 5th Avenue with its eclectic mix of restaurants, shops and clubs, and the white sandy beaches of the Caribbean.
It has 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one ensuite), a large living room-dining room, a full kitchen and a laundry room. We also have a safe in each bedroom and a pay as you go mobile phone for the exclusive use of our guests.
Start your day with a coffee on the rooftop terrace watching the sun rise over Cozumel. After a hot day at the beach, cool down in our fresh water pool located in the center courtyard. After, head back to the roof top terrace with a margarita, hot salsa & chips, and enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze, watch the sun set and count the evening stars.

More about us

I am a retired automotive engineer/purchasing agent and Margaret is a semi retired pharmacist/entrepreneur. We live in Ontario Canada and we enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. We have 2 sons living in Toronto and one granddaughter. We are very respectful people and we will take very good care of your property and we hope that you will do the same with ours.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The beach is 4 short blocks away from our condo and we provide beach chairs and beach towels. Fifth Avenue is pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants (with menus from around the world) and is only 1 block away. Grocery shopping such as Walmart, Mega or Soriana are a few blocks away and if you have too many purchases, you can always take a taxi back to our condo for only $30 pesos. The area is surrounded by an eclectic mix of condo developments, with no two alike.
The ecological park of Xcaret is only a 15 minute taxi ride and the historic ruins of Tulum are only 30 minutes by Collectivo, a minibus service. You can also swim with sea turtles at Akumal, just north of Tulum. The city of Cancun is about 70 minutes north of PDC by air conditioned ADO bus (cost $60 pesos).
