Charming house right on the beach. Two of the three bedrooms are oceanview. Located in the center of the most impressive Mayan ruins. About 20 minutes away from the City of Merida a lovely colonial town that is the capital of the state of Yucatan and has a population of 900,000. You can fly into Merida international airport or into Cancun (but that is a 2-2.5 hours drive away).
We are a professional married couple that loves to travel. We travel to Europe at least once a year and the rest of our vacation time is spent at the house in Mexico. We don't have any children and can pretty much pack up and go to the airport at the drop of a hat.
Quiet sleepy fishing village. Several local restaurants and small stores less than 2km away. It is a place for solitude and relaxation with entrtainment less than 15 minutes away, in the port city of Progreso or in Merida. Beautiful Mayan ruins within 20 minutes drive time, and many more Mayan ruins within a 150km radius. Flamingo reserve about 20 minutes away. Crime free, friendly neighbors, most of the homes on the beach are owned by Canadians, American or Europeans.
