Ideally we are looking for a swap of six months in Paris from March 1st through September 1st though it could be a shorter period of time too:
Our place is: Bright, quiet, clean, secure gated area with gated parking, only twenty minutes walking to centro and buses every ten minutes. There is secure gated parking.
Located in a quiet 'Mexican' neighborhood, when you arrive at our charming development 'Paseo de las Fuentes' you will be greeted by the nice guarded entry way and the lush gardens.. Our cozy condo is an end unit with it's own large tree filled with songbirds and giving shade.
The living room/dining area, has a comfortable papasan loveseat to just sink into.. and a white sofa to relax on.
The powder room with hand painted sink and tile and is just off the living room. The dining area has an antique round wooden dining table that seats four, with a charming tiled galley type kitchen behind, and a door opening out to a small patio with a "decorative" fountain.
Next to the living area is a kind of 'den' space under the stairs and right next to that is a small bright (TV) room which we use for relaxation. Most of the paintings in here are my originals.
Going up the windowed staircase to the second floor you will find a small sitting area between the two bedrooms. On one side is the Master bedroom with a brand new queen bed,, looking up to a boveda ceiling with a cupola. There is a 42' TV attached to the wall with a (separate)DVD player (which includes cable and has some English speaking channels) plus a great selection of movies! There is also a speaker system you can attach to your computer!
The Master also has a large sliding glass door which opens up to a a small balcony with a lounge chair and overlooks the gardens. (Perfect to curl up, read a book and listen to the birds!)
Adjoining the Master bedroom is a small walk in closet with dresser and skylight, leading to the bathroom and a lovely walk in shower with a window to access the breezeway. On the other side is the guest bedroom, with a sloped ceiling and ceiling fan. There is a small TV with cable provided. The guestroom has a very comfy new pillow top double bed.
The entire house has large pavers covered in authentic Persian rugs All bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, pots and pans are provided.
We have phone service which allows free calls to the USA,and Canada, . We have wireless service for our laptop users. We have tried to make this house as livable as possible since it has been our primary residence, and continue to make upgrades. The location is in Santa Julia about a twenty twenty five minute walk to the Centro. There are buses to centro just a half bock from the gate which come by every ten - fifteen minutes. As always most places are reachable by a 40-50 peso cab ride. (about $2 euros)
There are local grocery shops on the same block, for any late night munchies or needed supplies. .
The only thing you pay would be Sofi who comes to clean once a week and it's only 250 pesos ($16)
