Puerto Escondido does not have any fancy shopping malls, casinos or golf courses.

A holiday in Puerto Escondido will suit anyone with a sense of adventure, with a laid-back attitude and an open mind.

My husband and I are Canadian. I am a retired teacher and my husband is retired from his design and construction company. We have three grown children.

We discovered Puerto Escondido about 20 years ago and spent many family holidays here. Later we purchased some land on a beautiful point and built our retirement home.

We also have two homes in Canada - one in Ottawa, Ontario and a summer home on an island at Blue Sea Lake, Quebec. We speak English, some French and some Spanish.

We enjoy travelling and adventure and have been to many parts of the world. We have travelled extensively throughout Mexico.
