Our large 1-bedroom condo overlooks Marina Vallarta, home to hundreds of power and sailing yachts. The terrace provides a commanding view of the marina, the yachts, and the Sierra Madre mountains. The terrace is shaded all day making it excellent for sitting outside, while reading and watching the boats come and go and the people strolling the malecon (seawall promenade) below.
If you prefer to lie in the sun, take a lounge chair by the large pool. There are two tennis courts, rarely in use (use our raquets). The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many species of palms befitting our condominiumâs name, Marina Las Palmas.
In addition to the king-size bed in the bedroom, the sofa in the living room makes into a double bed.
We are retired Americans and have been coming to Mexico since 1991. We sailed our sailboat around the Pacific, visiting most of the island countries of the South and West Pacific. We still live aboard her on Puget Sound in Washington State, USA during the summer months. We look forward to exchanging our home and making friends with people from other lands. We will take care of your home as we would hope you will take care of ours.
Over a dozen fine restaurants are within a five-minute walk as well as art galleries, silver & jewelery shops, beauty salons & spas, and more. There are also several inexpensive Mexican-style eating establishments and small grocery stores around the marina.
The Marina Golf Club and the beach are both just one block away. The modern Plaza Marina mall with banks and a large supermarket are just a 15-minute walk. Inexpensive public buses and taxis provide excellent transportation making a car unnecessary, but rental cars are available close by.
Marina Vallarta is the departure point for the amazing variety of tours available around Banderas Bay, such as the forest canopy and whale watching tours, and many more.
