About our home

This is a top end house located about 5 miles from San Jose del Cabo on the East Cape of Baja California. Cabo San Lucas is 30 miles away if you like to party but the old town of San Jose has plenty to offer. House can sleep 12, and the beach is right in front of us. House comes with two cars and an ATV. This is a gated community of 20 houses, security is 24/7 but Baja has no drug problems.
The community offers all kinds of amenities if desired: in house masseuse, privet chefs for house parties, fishing trips or boat rentals from the nearby Puerto Los Cabos marina. Horse rentals to explore 40 miles of beaches. Best weather October to June...very hot in August and September. Great surfing and skin diving near by.

More about us

Semi retired business owners from San Francisco,California, our main residence. The Cabo house is a second home which we frequent for a month at a time, so planning is important. We have traveled the world but now wish to go someplace and stay for a month with friends. Italy is our first choice, around Tuscany. The exchange need not be during our use of your place.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

This is a small gated community called El Encanto de La Laguna with about 20 homes, all second homes, all in the 7 figure cost range. Very quiet and away from town and party people, but close enough if you want it! Beach streaches for 40 miles up the Sea of Cortez. Big marlin fishing is the best in the world or just go for fresh tuna. Lots of restaurants nearby, Italian, French and of course Mexican. Common language is English and Spanish.
