About our home

Colonial style home (lots of wrought iron and windows) with boveda brick ceilings and beautiful decor, you will be comfortable in my home located about 2 miles from the town centro (15 minute bus or taxi). As I am an artist and a cook, you will find a modern kitchen and beautiful dining room. The living area with a gas log fireplace looks out onto the front yard and the sunroom in the back of the house looks out to a well-kept garden area for outdoor enjoyment. Two bedrooms and a den (vonage phone/high speed internet connection/cable TV) on the second floor all have views of the lovely gardens. A twice weekly gardener and weekly maid keeps my home well cared for.

More about us

  1. As a full time watercolor artist for over 30 years, I first discovered San Miguel in 1979. Returning 5 years ago for a holiday vacation, I fell in love with the colonial charm and the art scene and bought a home. I enjoy travelling all over the US and world for inspiration for my work and decided this home trading idea would be perfect for me.

Where is it?

Located in the Los Frailes community of homes a short distance from town, there is bus service from the road into town (I'm seven streets from the bus road). The neighborhood is comprised of well cared for, some very large homes located on suburban lots. A popular residential neighborhood, many business owners and San Miguel residents prefer the quiet streets and spaciousness of this area overlooking the lake to the south of town.
