About our home

Our home is comfortable, cozy, and relaxing. The terrace overlooks a back yard that is semi-private with an open view of the mountains and where you can enjoy watching the stars and local fauna. I love spending time in my home and is where I go when I need to relax and rest. Very quiet and relaxing.

My sister and I are just starting to slow down and enjoy the good life. We are taking a 2 year vacation form work. We like to travel and experience different cultures. We are very quiet and enjoy very much spending our time in the nature. I would like to improve my english languaje skills so I am looking forward to spend some time in an English spoken country for a 1 to 2 months stay. In San Miguel de Allende are very good schools to learn Spanish. Besides that I would like to spend 1 month in a house near the beach.

Where is it?

My home is in the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende, one of the most charming and unique colonical towns in Mexico. It is known for its cobbled streets, 16th and 17th century architecture, pastel colors and old churches and rich artistic and cultural life It is on many lists, as one of the world's desirable places to retire. We are a 15 minute drive from the center of town and a 15 minute drive from the unique 100 hectare botanical garden with its walking paths. In fact, if you want, San Miguel is one of those places were you can walk pretty much everywhere. If tired, or if too late, it is a 20, 25, 30 pesos taxi ride to pretty much anywhere in town. San Miguel is also a great base for visiting other colonial towns lile colonial Guamajuato or Queretaro.
