My home is a converted loft within a former muslin factory built in 1904. It is now a mojor design center with numerous art galleries, antique stores and artist studios as well as a coffee shop and two restaurants. It has 30 foot ceilings in th eliving room and 2 terraces one with lovely church views. I have been approached by 2 international design magazines to have it published but it has yet to appear in either. I have a full time cook and maid who will care for the property and anyone who stays here.
I'm 51 and a real estate investor. I renovate historical homes here in San Miguel and will soon begin building new homes in the country. I am also a teacher of Japanese flower arrangment.
San Miguel is a town of about 70,000 people high in the mountains of central Mexico. It has been identified as an artisit colony since the middleof the 20th century. It has a year round spring climate. My loft is a 15 minute flat walk north of the main church and plaza farther to the north is the country.
