About our home

Our house is located just outside downtown Malinalco, a beautiful historic town in the State of Mexico an hour and forty five minutes from Mexico City. The house has a garden and pool, it is waling distance from the town center where shops and restaurants are and also the XVI century ex convent. In the mountains that can be seen from the house, there is the archeological site that contains the house of eagles and jaguars, one of the few monolithic pyramids of the aztec world, carved in the stone and used to honor the aztec warriors before the Spanish conquest (1521). Manilla is a beautiful, quaint and charming town with terra cotta tiled roofs, semi-tropical vegetation and great weather most of the year. it rains in the afternoons from July to mid October, which is when the vegetation is more lush. It is most warm from March to June reaching up to 35C but not more than that as it located at 1750 meters above sea level.
