About our home
Our home is on a cliff with a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean and the Peninsula Juluapan. There are rock formations in the ocean directly below and in front of the home that are lighted at night. The home has three bedrooms - with a king on the main floor and two bedrooms downstairs with queen size beds. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom with shower en suite. There is a powder room on the main level. There is a laundry room on the lower level. The dining room and living room are spacious, inviting, and cool under the tropical fans that bring the breezes inside. There is bi-weekly maid service. More frequent service can be arranged. Guests can also arrange for a cook daily or for a special dinner. Our property manager can arrange excusions, deep sea fishing, or recommend local restaurants, etc.

Joe and I are retired professionals; a doctor and teacher. We have retired to Mexico, but love to visit other places and are almost always ready and willing to get up and go. We have been international yacht racers, skiers, and haven't slowed down much...yet. We love food and wine and friends who do too!!!! Before we moved here permanently, we had been visiting this area since 1978. We would love to have you experience our little slice of paradise!!! Most likely we will be traveling with just the two of us. On occasion we may have another couple, or a daughter and son in law with us. We understand the importance of treating propety with respect, which is one reason we are enthusiastic about this home exchange program. We will treat your property as if it were our own. We are non-smokers.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Lomas del Mar is located on the Peninsula Juluapan. Driving 2 km from the main highway out on to the point of the peninsula, you will enjoy the sites of mango trees, palm trees, mangrove and more. When you enter Lomas del Mar you enter a neighborhood of private homes all with unique ocean and lagoon views. The breezes never end. Since this area is on the same latitude as Hawaii...the climate is similar year 'round. Santiago Beach, a five km stretch of sandy beach, is only 1 km from our house and within walking distance. Santiago golf course is almost as close. On this peninsula we are tucked in with nature, water and sky, yet "town" and all it has to offer is only 15 minutes away. The Las Hadas Golf Course is 20 minutes down the road, and Isla Navidad Golf at the Hotel Grand Bay is a 30 to 40 minute drive. Manzanillo International Airport (ZLO) is a short 20 minutes from the villa.
