About our home

Brand new condo near Akumal, Mexico, famous for swimming with the sea turtles. We chose a beautiful condo that looks over the 5th green of the Robert Trent Jones golf course, which is part of the Bahia Principe development (yes, you can play it!). Beyond the green, is nothing but jungle and the multitude of birds that make waking up such a wonderful experience. Simple, clean, easy, and with concierge and cleaning support. It allows you to spend the entire day on the beach, or exploring the cenotes, golf courses, pools, water sports, yoga studio, workout facility, or whatever you fancy.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The condo is part of a new development in the middle of a gold course near Akumal, Mexico. You can walk to a few pools, The Wellness Center (for yoga, Tai Chi, sweat lodge, and lap pools), and a small restaurant for the development. There is a golf cart system to give you a ride to the main Bahia Principe hotels, beach or beach activities (you can purchase an "all-inclusive" day pass to have complete access to everything. But you really need a car to access things in Playa del Carmen or Tulum.

Buzzy restaurants
NAU in Playa del Carmen
Cool bars
Playa del Carmen is one big cool (or warm) bar!
Cozy cafés
We like the Buena Vida on the beach near Akumal or La Lunita a little farther North up the beach. Incredible meals at half the cost in the US.
Retail therapy
Playa del Carmen has their word famous 10th Avenida, which hosts all the world famous brands you could wish to shop.
Bit of culture
Modern Culture - go to Playa del Carmen, or maybe all the way to Cancun. But if you want old culture, I would send you to Coba for the ruins.
Walks in the park
All around the golf course, or pick a section of beach and head off!
Spot of exercise
From preparing the coffee all the way up to snorkeling in the open ocean. Something for everyone. Or if you just want the treadmills, Cybex, and exercycles, they have that at the Wellness Center.
Day tripping
Tulum - the cenote/beach combination is unsurpassed!
