It is well equipped with contemporary amenities, and decorated with a unique artistic flair. spacious, comfortable, quiet, lovely and loved by holiday makers from around the world. It is the top floor flat in a stone built family house, surrounded by greenery and flowers, with own fruit and veg garden. The house is 3 min walk away from city centre but in a lovely, quiet surroundings on the edge of pedestrian Old Town. Herceg Novi is a stunning town, featured in the Forbes Magazine as one of top European budget destination. It is located at the entrance to Boka Bay (Bay of Kotor), one of the most beautiful bays in the world. two years ago it was second in the running for the 'European City of Culture' contest. Herceg Novi has a lot of small beaches, a 7 km long sea-front promenade, flower gardens and a rich artistic scene. The swimming season starts in May and ends at the end of October, but if you prefer quiet holidays, the town is great to visit outside the main tourist season. There are many charming cafes and restaurants thoughout the town, the closest being 100m away from the flat. For those who like trekking, there are many scenic trails near the town, and the beautiful mount Orjen is only half an hour drive away. Mount Lovce and Skadar Lake as within a couple of hour drive away; and Tara white water rafting can be done as a day trip. The historic cities of Dubrovnik and Kotor are withing 90min and 60min drive away respectively. In short, for those who like to discover this part of the Mediterranean, Herceg Novi offers a lot and our house is a perfect base from which to explore the rest.

Neighbourhood

Herceg Novi is a town at the entrance of Boka Bay (also known as Bay of Kotor), one of the 25 most beautiful world bays. It is known as 'town or artists, flowers and many steps', also a festival town, as each month of the year there a different art/culture festival is staged (film festival, jazz festival, classical guitar festival, book festival, theatre festival etc). My house is in a quiet, green area, close to the pedestrian Old Town (1min walk), perfect for morning coffees and strolls around local art and craft galleries. The town centre with cafes, shops, banks and farmers market is only 5min walk away, and the nearest beach can be reached on foot within 3min.
