About our home

We bought this home 17 years ago in the spur of the moment and never once regretted it.
The ryad is an open sky house where all rooms surrender the patio where we sit most of the time.
The house is large but with few rooms, A master bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom, 1 guest room with a double bed and adjoing bathroom, 1 children room with twin beds. 4 additional people can sleep downstairs in the living room which is used only in the winter with a fireplace.
An additional shower room is downstairs. The house comes with a full time maid and cook, who also does the shopping.

More about us

My ex husband an I bought this house 17 years ago and kept it between us although we divorced 10 years ago.
I am an entrepreneur, working in communication (I have just launched a professional wardrobe renting company) and am the proud mother of 2 sons aged 14 and 17.
I am attached to a Moroccan painter who is from Essaouira and am happy to discover any new place provided it is off the beaten tracks and authentic.

Essaouira is one of the most seeked places in Morocco for surfing, windsurfing. It is magnificent, surrounded by high walls plunging directly into the Atlantic. essaouira is for those who enjoy walking on the beach, early in the morning, horse riding, wind surfing, but also leisurly afternoons in the patio reading books and listening to BAch, the oriental flavours, the simple yet comfortable life of a small sea resort.
For the teen agers, there are a couple of bars to go to, nothing fancy, but an unforgettable experience.
