About our home

Located in the most fashionable district within the Old Town -Dar El Basha, this is the ideal base to explore Marrakech. Riad Papillon became our holiday home in 2005. We have converted into a boutique riad hotel with 5 luxury air conditioned ensuite bedrooms. All rooms have double bed/twins, DVD, iPod stations, minibars & WiFi. At its heart is a courtyard garden, Above sits the traditional roof top terrace-a magical setting for candlelit dinners, English speaking staff are on hand to help you make the most of your stay. You could just use one or two rooms or take over the whole riad with a party of up to 10 people. We love Marrakech and we think you will too! The Riad has a website www.riadpapillon.com

More about us

We are a family of 4: Mike, Lucie and our daughter (18) and son (21) who are both at University. We love to travel and meet new people and see new places. We live in the countryside in the UK just 30 mins north of London by train on a 50 acre smallholding where we keep a herd of 25 alpacas as well as ducks, chickens and cats. (We are open to exchanges for our UK property also).
We have done very successful exchanges in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro.

Marrakech is a vibrant and exciting City. The old town is a walled mediaeval settlement comprising ancient palaces and gardens, endless souks. The world famous main square hosts all manner of musicians, acrobats storytellers and street performers
