About our home

This 2-bedroomed self-contained house is on a site of almost 3 acres, with a large villa on the same plot, and another smaller house for the resident staff, is available for swapping/renting. Guests have access to a beautiful outdoor salt-water swimming pool (heated FOC in the peak season, and for a daily charge out of season) and luxurious jacuzzi spa (heated FOC at any time) plus large poolside room, and an adjacent huge practice terrace for activities. When we are in residence, or there are guests in the main house, these facilities are shared. You can also book the main house together with the smaller villa for larger groups or retreats.

The self-contained Guesthouse has 2 double beds with open plan kitchen/diner/living space, a bathroom and all mod cons, plus a click-clack sofa bed in the open plan living area, so sleeps up to 5 in total). It has a terrace at the back with a pergola and surrounding garden, wonderful sea views, especially sunsets over the open Atlantic. There's also another small house where our residential staff family live on site to provide maintenance and basic cleaning services. For an additional 10 Euros a day you can have daily help with cleaning, washing/ironing and food preparation/cooking.

More about us

  1. We have one large house and one smaller house currently available for rent and the occasional swap, generally preferring points or non-simultaneous swaps.

  2. Both houses have glorious views over the open Atlantic, it's a quiet , idyllic location for r & r. Large outdoor saltwater swimming pool (heated FOC in the peak season, outside the season if we're away, there's a charge for heating) and a jacuzzi spa with a large poolside room. Lots of outdoor space with a friendly dog (managed by the resident staff who live in another small house on the property. The smaller house is totally secured with a surrounding fence for those who don't want contact with the dog). Short drive to beaches and the gorgeous town of Essaouira with its music festivals, arts & crafts, and kite surfing. You can also walk down the escarpment to the beach and sea, about 30 - 45 minutes depending on the route you take.

The staff take care of the pool, jacuzzi, garden, and general maintenance. Nahza cleans before and after your stay but if you want daily cleaning/washing/ironing/food preparation/cooking, there's a daily charge of 10 Euros payable before your arrival by bank transfer.

  3. We run a consultancy and training business in Dubai, which we currently visit regularly, having lived in the Middle East for 15 years, our main home is now at Villa Habibi. So, sometimes we are in residence, but not all the time.
