A recommander!”
“We spent two weeks (July 2016) in Jean-Luc and Mariannes beautiful red "castle" in Morocco. The house is very beautiful and the pool area is a perfect place to hang out on a warm day. We rented a car and visited towns like Touredant and Agadir and drove along the coast as well, which we recommend. We were taken good care of by the staff connected to the house (we chose to have a cook the first week and she made us wonderful Moroccan cuisine). Thank you Marianne and Jean-Luc for a wonderful exchange!”
“We had so much fun at 'our little castle'. The garden is on its way to be a beautiful Oasis. Our daughter loved the pool and garden, as well as having her own little princess tower. Jean-Luc was a fantastic host but we're very skeptical about writing a review, because its our little secret.... we'll be back!”
“My boyfriend and I spent over a week in this lovely big house near Agadir. We loved the house and the pool, but we were uncomfortable with the location, it's quite remote surrounded by shacks and people living in very poor conditions. Every time we opened the gates children came up to us begging for money. And it was often hard to sleep with the barking from the two dogs on site and from dogs outside. We had the services of the cook most days and Fatima was wonderful, though she did charge us a lot each day for basic ingredients. But her food was wonderful. There wasn't much privacy during the day though, with the cook and the caretaker there most days til about 2 so we usually visited somewhere then. Agadir and the area was interesting and the people friendly and we visited some fabulous places, including Marrakesh. Overall, we had a great holiday in Jean luc's house in Morocco. ”
“We have spent a wonderful week in this very spacious and beautiful riad with a lot of Marrocan details. Our daughter and her friend were very pleased with the swimming pool :-). The beds slept well and there were enough bedsheet and towels. The toilets and bathrooms were clean and in Marrocan style too. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. The garden was very big and we met a turtle over there. Three friendly little dogs watched over the place and they were Always very enthousiastic upon our return. Renting a car is a necessity. We could rent it through a contact of Jean-Luc, the owner. The nearest big supermarket is in Agadir and over half an hour drive away. Within a kilometer of the house is a little local shop were you can buy bread and other first necessities. The sights were in our view a bit far away (almost an hour or more). We spent a day in Taroudant, Paradise Valley (really a must-do!) and a nightover in Marrakech (= a three hours drive away) and saw the waterfalls of Immouzine. We could not find the grottes and basin of Win-Tindouine. Agadir was not \'our cup of tea\', but if you like beaches and a more mondain city, we think you will like it. We had a good contact with Jean-Luc through Whats app. They left our house in a very clean state. We sincerly can recommend this houseswap!”
“Beginning of March 2015 we have spent fabulous holidays in Jean-Luc's and Marianne's Riad near Agadir. The architecture of the spacious house is very impressive, the garden with lot's of palms, orange, citrus and banana trees is a real paradise. We enjoyed swimming in the huge pool and relaxing in the peaceful place. Very cute was the young Jack Russel. Additionally we played a lot of golf and found Agadir a very attractive golf destination. It was also very interesting to visit the historic city Taroudant together with our guide Hafid. Our steward Hafid spoiled us the whole week with healthy mint tea from the garden and fresh bread in the morning. He was very helpful and caring all the time. Prior to the journey it was a great pleasure to communicate with Jean-Luc, who gave us lot's of helpful advises for great places to visit and restaurants nearby. Thanks a lot to Marianne and Jean-Luc for the wonderful holidays!!! Renate and Werner”
