About our home

Our house in Todra Gorge, Morocco, is a peaceful refuge where you can enjoy authentic Moroccan mountain life. The sunny, south-facing rooms with private balconies offer ample natural light, and the natural materials (like earth, straw, and lime) from which our home is built keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Hot water is readily available from solar panels on our roof terrace. In our shaded garden we grow all variety of vegetables and fruit trees (like lemon, orange, pomegranate, almond, plum, avocado, etc etc!). We also keep chickens and bees and have a dog, Chester.
Normally we operate a guest house called A Secret Garden so each of the rooms has its own sink and shower but toilets are shared in the hall.

There is wifi however there are no televisions, dishwashers, or other fancy electronics. Life is simple and peaceful here :)
