We have a lovely 3 bedroomed beach-front home on the oceans edge. Take long walks along the beach, drive into town and enjoy the wonderful ambience of Swakopmund. Stunning, uninterrupted views of the ocean. Watch the ships at sea at night. Enjoy the flamingos in the sea. The dolphins swimming by and the seals playing in the ocean. The lounge/diningroom walks out onto a patio/veranda. 2 Bedrooms have a seaview. The 3rd bedroom is spacious. One bathrooms has bath and the en-suite bathroom has a shower. Guest toilet is downstairs. Internet and wifi is available.
Two double beds and 2 Twin beds. Diningroom table seating 8 people. Table and chairs for sitting outside. Inside and outside place to make a barbecue. Lounge area with comfortable lounge suite. Well fitted kitchen.

“We enjoyed our stay and the communication with Margaretha was very pleasant from the beginning. She was very helpful and gave a lot of tips. Because the property is located some distance from both Walvisbay and Swakopmund, you will normally require a car. The trip into the Dunes was amazing and also the kids loved the quad bike ride. We did all the things we wanted to do in 3 days. ”
My husband and I have 4 adult children. The daughters are married. We are Christians. We love spending time with our children and loved ones.
We enjoy travelling, with or without our children.
Raimund, my husband, is working in Private Equity. I am a social worker, counselling children. Our children are young professionals.
We enjoy good food, either cooking of eating at markets of local restaurants. We enjoy different cultures and experiencing the adventures as a family.
This house is situated in Langstrand, a holiday town between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. It is a 15minute drive both ways to town. Langstrand is a quiet holiday town between the Ocean and the Namib desert. Swakopmund is a lovely town with ample restaurants, museum and lots of small shops. It has an amazing desert golf course that is certain to surprise you.
The town is built with a German style and German is commonly spoken here.
Fishing, paragliding, quadbiking and desert trips are some of,the fun things to do.
A visit to Africa is a must. Namibia is a vast outstretched country. The people are friendly and the German presence makes it a very interesting destination. The Namib desert lies next to the ocean. It is spectacular and every person must get the chance to climb the highest dune, Duin 7.
Your life will be enriched after a visit to Namibia. Spend time at Swakopmund and then visit Sceleton coast, which a fishing haven and then tour to Etosha game reserve to experience the big five in the National,Game reserve.
