Spacious modern house nearby Amsterdam

“We just came back from two wonderful weeks in Almere in the big house of Mirre and her family ! The house is close to beaches, to Amsterdam and surroundings (Marken, Lelystad, Volendam, Alkmaar, Utrecht...). The house is very peaceful close to the center city with numerous awesome architecture buildings. Access is very easy using train (20' from Amsterdam) or by car (5' for the nearest beaches). Their house is peacefully, very quiet, and we were as on our own home (with a great kitchen!). We travelled a lot by bikes all around, and Arthur spent a lot of times playing in the girls rooms. At our return our house was as clean as at our departure. So do not hesitate ! Go to Almere in Mirre's beautiful house !”

“My daughter and I spent a very pleasant and exciting six weeks in Almere. Almere is the perfect location for discovering the Netherlands since it is centrally located with easy access to train and major road ways. The neighborhood was friendly and easy to navigate; the local shopping area was in walking distance and the city center was a twenty minute drive away. My daughter loved making friends with the local children, most of whom spoke English. Mirre and Victor have a lovely, comfortable home in which Emmalee and I felt completely at ease. If you like to cook, their kitchen is a dream. We enjoyed keeping in touch with each other over the course of the exchange to chat about our experiences and to give advice. They took excellent care of our home just as they do their own. Exchanging with this family was a joy, I hope all our future exchanges are as delightful.”
