About our home

Our home is a comfortable family house in the middle of nature, in a suburb, 2 miles away from the Amsterdam. Truly a special place: the location makes this house unique! You are surrounded by a special nature area with fields with horses, feasants, rabbits, sheep and birds, windmills and water/rivers but you can also see the skyline of Amsterdam and go there by car, bike or public transport. It feels relaxed, beautiful and peaceful, but still it has all the advantages/assets of living in the big city.

The house was built 15 years ago and is a double house with very nice neighbours that (if at home) can help you out with any questions and/or advise.

On the ground floor is the kitchen, the living room and a room for the kids (by day) and tv (by night). The kitchen is large and well equipped and has a table for 6-8 people. In the cellar we have an extra fridge and freezer, the washing machine, dryer, stock en winecellar.

On the first floor the large master bedroom with a comfortable and electrically adjustable real Dutch Auping bed, a marmer bathroom with bath and rain-shower and 2 other bedrooms where our children sleep. In total it fits 5 or 6 people and is 160m2.

We love art and design. You could be wonderfully surprised by the paintings and design furniture.

The large enclosed garden is complete with multiple terraces, bbq and trampoline (for your morning exercise).

You can use our bikes (normal bikes, electric bike, a kidcar for children that can be attached to the bikes and two racing bikes) and we could discuss the exchange or use of one of our cars (Saab estate that fits 5 people). It is free parking in front of our house and always a spot;)

A housekeeper comes every week to clean the house.

Subway and tram are only ten minutes away by bike or 20 minutes walking. It takes 10 minutes into Amsterdam by public transport and 10 minutes to go into Amsterdam by car. An (UBER) taxi to Amsterdam city center will cost you ca. €20.

10 miles away from Schiphol Airport
