About our home

Our home is situated in the coziest neighborhood of Amsterdam, the Haarlemmerbuurt/ Jordaan district, right next to the canals. It is a three-story monumental house in a 18th century building (160 square meters). Our home has lots of original details, a spacious living kitchen, a roof terrace (40 square meters), wooden floors, 3 bedrooms + separate baby/ kids room, 2 bathrooms (tiny ones), seperate toilet, laundry room, great location!

Our place is ideal for families with kids, or couples. The central location makes it a perfect place to explore the historical and best parts of the city, visit museums, do some shopping, enjoy good food and have picknicks in the park. The Anne Frank house is just 10 minutes walking. And what is Amsterdam without a bicycle? You can use ours. We have 2 city bikes with seats for the kids and a cargo bike.

We have Wifi and Netflix.

What we look for:
We love travelling, exploring new places, unique homes, interior design, art, creatives, good food, nature & surfing. We are looking for a similar home exchange. It doesn’t have to be luxurious, but cozy, comfortable & unique. Surprise us! :-)

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

About our street the Haarlemmerdijk: heart of the city center, trendy & creative area, lots of restaurants, bars & coffee places, voted as best shopping street of the Netherlands, part of the historical center called 'Jordaan', 10 minutes walk from Central Station, located near Westerpark.

We love to share our favorite addresses, shops, restaurants with you. For example, you can enjoy great food at SLA, a brand new restaurant which recently opened its doors downstairs. Here they serve the best organic (main dish) salads, fresh juices, soups, coffee, tea and vegan cakes. And there are plenty more options in this area. If you let us know what kind of food you like we can make a restaurant selection for you.

To do:
- Every Monday there is a great vintage market around the corner (Noordermarkt)
- On Wednesday and Saturday: organic farmers market
- Oldest Amsterdam art house cinema is on our street
- Lots of playgrounds for kids
- Great shopping area
- Museums
- Bike rental in the street (or you can use ours, we also have a cargo bike)
- Picnic in the Westerpark - lovely park where the kids can swim in the summer
