About our home

We have a spacious city centre ground floor apartment overlooking one of Amsterdam's picturesque canals.

The apartment of 135 sq meters was renovated recently and tastefully decorated. Two floors and two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms provide comfortable and private spaces for two couples.

Upper Floor:
The larger of the two floors (80sqm). Two separate entrances; one from the hall way of the building and a street side entrance that also leads to the lower level. There are more amenities; primarily the state of the art kitchen and dining area that covers the major part of this level; high enough to provide a good view of the canal and "Love Bridge"

A generous size bedroom with ample storage and an adjoining bathroom. A small cloak room stores the apartments' washer, dryer and a storage fridge.

Lower Floor:
A street side entrance and some steps down lead to a lovely 55square meter studio. First, a glass doorway to an elegantly furnished living space: a sofa, dining table and the fully equiped pantry. Further on takes you to a private bathroom and a sliding door to the bedroom and study

The Neighbourhood:
Meters away from the "Love Bridge"; you are literally steps away from the many quaint shops, cafes and restaurants. And being in the heart of the city nearby the Opera house and the flea market a 20 - 25minutes walk would cover all places you would need to visit: from Central Station to the Flower Market; from Anne Frank to van Gogh museum and the busy Jordaan to the quiet eastern harbour area of the old city.
