About our home

Perfectly refurbished old canal apartment in the most authentic area in Amsterdam; de Jordaan. The building is 300 years old & has been professionally renovated in December 2018. It has a wonderful atmosphere combining the charm of a 18th century canal apartment with the comforts of being newly renovated.

There are three wonderful bedrooms, two separate toilets, two bathrooms (both have showers and one has a bathtub) and a rooftop terrace with amazing views.

I have a brand new Mini, with a parking permit so you can park in a huge area for free (will send map of exact area).

I added some Airbnb reviews from guests I had when I Airbnbed the place for 2 months this year! It's nice to hear how other "guests" experience the place :)

More about us

  1. Hi! I'm Lisa and I grew up in Ibiza. Whenever I come, I stay with friends, but this time I would like to have my own place and come for longer, so I can also work. I would come alone or with my roommate, with whom I've been friends with since we were in highschool together :)

  2. I love animals and nature, most of all.

  3. I love being active, hiking, cooking and having long endless dinners with warm and loving people and too much wine, I love to read but I also love to party, when something good is on.

Where is it?

I can't wait to tell you about all the amazing places around! You cant get more authentic Amsterdam than this area. Like the oldest bar in the Jordaan (400 years old!) about 30 seconds walk from my door. Every big landmark is walking distance, whilst the area is still surprisingly quiet, both in terms of noise and tourism in the streets. This is very rare for Amsterdam! See below the time it takes to walk to some of the most famous sights in Amsterdam. There is also a bike rental shop about 100 meters down the street.

- Dam Square: 6 minutes walk, 3 minutes bike
- Anne Frank House: 3 minutes walk (you can see it from the window)
- Leidseplein: 12 minutes walk, 5 minutes bike
- Central Station: 15 minutes walk, 7 minutes bike
- Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Stedelijk museums: 30 minutes walk, 10 min bike
- Vondelpark: 25 minutes walk 10 min bike
