About our home

We live in a bright and spacious apartment for two people on the third floor of a mansion block which was built around 1900.

Layout of the apartment:
Large en suite room, a well equipped kitchen, small modern bathroom and a bedroom.
The back of our house overlooks a small park.

We are Nanneke Brokking and Ad van Liempt.
Ad (73) is a visual artist and Nanneke (65) teaches history at a high school.
Our interests are primarily cultural: museums, theater, film and we are both avid readers.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our house is located on the quiet outskirts of the city center, in a trendy neighborhood with the Vondelpark just around the corner. The house has very good public transport connections.
The major museums, the concert hall, the canals and the Leidseplein are all within walking distance.
We have two bikes, which can be used.
Our neighborhood has a wide variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops etc
