About our home

The best couch you have been chilling on in your entire life. A cozy romantic bedroom. Bookshelves throughout the house with all kinds of literature (yes, English too) to enjoy. We love vintage furniture and stuff, so you will find yourself in a comfortable house with stuff that makes you will feel at home. If you bring your kids we will make them feel at home too. Parks, shops, restaurants, city centre, public transport are on walking distance. Take a stroll along the amstelriver at night and enjoy the romantic canals of amsterdam. The house is being cleaned every week by a professional cleaner.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our home is only 12 minutes away from the city centre, where you can explore the canals, beautiful art museums, the National Opera House and the best vintage markets. Check out hip and happening nightlife in neighbourhoods like De Pijp, Jordaan or de Baarsjes. If you are more into nature just rent a bike (it's all very kidsproof in Amsterdam) and follow the Amstelriver that flows right along our house into the magic nature outside the city. Or just enjoy the two parks that are only a block away, which are both nice familyareas as well as a fun place to hang out for couples. In summer there is a boatrental on a 7 minute walk. The bus stops right across our street. Train, tram and metro are only 5 minutes of walking. There are three big supermarkets, two biological supermarkets and a shoppingcenter on walking distance. And allthough all this might sound very vibrant: the area is actually very quiet. We like to mention this specifically since quietness is important for us ourselves.
