About our home

We have a modern three bedroom apartment in a new neighbourhood in Amsterdam (IJburg). Downstairs is the hall and a nice bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs is the living area with two more bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious and light. One of the bedrooms has a double bed, the other a large single bed (queen size).
There is a luxurious kitchen, living room, toilet and a bathroom with shower and bath. We have a little patio with a hammock.

More about us

  1. We are a family of four. My name is Anouk and I'm 47. I'm a teacher at an elementary school. Arnold is also 47 and a creditcontroller. Nino is seventeen years old and Evi is fifteen. We love to travel with the four of us and our kids already have seen a lot. We even lived in Surinam for 4,5 years. They are used to travelling around. We registered some dates, but besides these dates we also consider exchanging for weekends. We really like to change homes. It's nice to spent the holiday in somebody's house and feel right at home. We already had succesful home-exchanges in Paris (France), Sasetta (Italy) and Annecy (France).

Neighbourhood

We live in a new neighbourhood in Amsterdam (IJburg). You have the best of both worlds. You'll be in the centre of Amsterdam in 15 minutes by tram (Central Station) to visit our wonderful city.
In IJburg there are two beaches (it's situated at the IJsselmeer) and if you love watersports: you can (kite)surf, rent a sup, swim in the local waters. There is a park, shops and restaurants and it's close to the highway (so a nice base to travel from). We have nice neighbours who can help you with anything (if you want to).
