About our home

This original, 1900's-build apartment is located in a pleasant and characteristic inner-urban neighbourhood in Amsterdam. The apartment very comfortably fits 2 people, but it could in fact sleep up to 4, as a separate double matress can be placed on the lounge room floor if necessary. The living area is very spacious and receives a lot of sun. The apartment contains all of the amenities required.

I am an Australian man living in Amsterdam with my Dutch girlfriend. We are both around 30 years of age and both have full-time professional jobs - I am a computer programmer and my girlfriend is a teacher. We enjoy the kind of lifestyle Amsterdam has to offer - eating out at great restaurants, meeting up with friends for a coffee or a drink at a bar or some live music, going for walks when the weather is nice or riding our bikes. We are both family-orientated people and enjoy spending time with our families wherever possible.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The apartment is located on a very quiet street that is nonetheless surrounded by an ample supply of restaurants, cafes and bars, a 2 minute walk away from the large and beautiful Vondel park, a 15 minute bike ride to Central Station, a 15 minute walk to the centre of Amsterdam where there is much to see and do - canal cruises, theatre/music, restaurants/cafes/bars, and even the Red Light District if it takes your fancy. There is also a tram stop less than 5 minutes walk away where you can catch a tram that takes you to Cenral Station via he heart of the city.
