About our home

Welcom in our little castle. The name castle is pretty fitting to discribe our house I guess, it is at the heart of the city and it is big. The unique part of this house is that it is not a multiple rooms appartment. It is a big open studio (75m2!), so there is lots of room to run and roll around. It is meant for couples whom really love each other cause there is nowhere to hide! Or for lonewolfs offcourse whom love the space. The interior is rather simple, we are some happy but poor artists (director and singer) whom can't afford fancy strange design furniture. There for it is really not a hotel, but our personal home. The fun is in the space, the people you are with and the location, not in slick seethrough glass chairs.

There is loads to do in the neighboorhood, The Anne Frank house is 500m from the door. The most cosy aria of Amsterdam the 'Jordaan' is on the other side of the street. This is the aria with all the small alleys, crocket houses, restaurants and canals. Perfect to spent some days enjoying getting lost and stumble upon the most beautifull canals. The cozy shopping aria called the 'nine streets' is on a 500m distance, this is an aria full of cool but pretty expensive shops and coffee places. For the known touristique things you don't have to go far either, the redlight district is a 15 min walk or 2 stops with the tram and the closest coffee shop is 50m from our doorstep. But we as locals of course will leave a nice list of do's and dont's so you can expericence the city from inside out, instead of only finding the places where you will be drowning in tourist.
The tram runs through our street so you will be everywhere in no time. It is a pretty busy street but we have some amazing dubble glass windows so inside you will not hear a thing. Your own Island in the centre of Amsterdam.
