About our home

A monumental building in the centre of Amsterdam, located in the middle of the popular neighborhood the Jordaan. The Jordaan is full with small shops, restaurants, bars and galleries. Even though you stay right in the centre nearby all the interesting sights Amsterdam has to offer, you still can enjoy the peace and quiet of a calm street.

The apartment has a light and spacious living room with an open kitchen. If you go one floor up you enter a characteristic bedroom with a double bed and a large wall closet. The bathroom is attached and has a bath. Another floor up and you'll enter the roof terrace (20 m2) that has just been renovated with oak furniture. The view over the old centre offers the Westerkerk and the Palace on the Dam among other landmark buildings.

The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, a washing machine and wifi is available.

At walking distance you'll find the major attractions such as the Anne Frank House, the Palace at the Dam, and the famous Canal Belt that recently acquired UNESCO monument status.
The neighborhood is famous for it's typical Dutch bars where you can sometimes hear people sing traditional Dutch songs while they're drinking their beers (the music is an acquired taste) Also close by are the Leidseplein with many bars and clubs, and the Vondelpark where you can easily spend an entire day picnicking and strolling around.
