About our home

Our spacious (100m2) apartment is located in 'De Rivierenbuurt', a cozy neighborhood located between the Scheldestraat and the Amstel River, close to the city centre. Compared with other areas, there are just a few hotels. This means that you'll discover the real "Amsterdammer" in a neighborhood which has become famous for his architecture called 'The Amsterdam School'. We are sure you will appreciate this part of town!

If you look at the photo's above you'll get a good idea of our home. I also added two photo's of the neighborhood, Google will show you the rest. :)

We are open to lend out our car, so you are free to discover the rest of this extraordinary country too!

More about us

  1. We're a family of three, with a little boy age 2

  2. We are both entrepreneurs, my company is active within eCommerce and my partner is an expert in developing nursing homes

  3. We love to travel and our dream is to blend this excitement with our businesses. That's why we are aiming for a couple of 'keeponworking-trips' (4 - 10 days) every year.

Our home will also be available for a longer period at the end of this year in December. We are open for (non-simultaneous) swap or point swap.

Where is it?

Rivierenbuurt literally translates to ‘River neighborhood’. It's name stems from the fact that most of the streets here are named after rivers in the Netherlands.
This residential neighborhood was developed in the 1920s and was considered quite an architectural wonder in those days.
