Spacious, bright and warm apartment near the vibrant Oud-West quarter and only a couple of minutes from the city center. Our home has two big bedrooms and a study which can be turned into a third.
Two toilets, a bathroom with a bath and a separate shower, a room with a washing machine and dryer and an open kitchen with dishwasher.
For couple's with a baby: we got all the stuff you need, even a stroller if necessary.
Our apartment (100 m2) used to be two separate apartments, which have been merged. As a result we have a lot of space and a huge, sunny balcony/terrace.
Located in a typically Amsterdam area, Bos & Lommer, built around the 1930's and still unspoiled by mass tourism. Supermarkets, restaurants, deli's and tram stops all within walking distance of our home, as are the bustling Jan Evertsenstraat, De Clercqstraat and the wonderful Erasmuspark.
Close to Schiphol Airport: 20 minutes by taxi (22 euros with Uber) or 25 minutes by train and tram (the Sloterdijk Station, with direct connection to Schiphol, is close to our home).
Upcoming (but actually already there) quarter of Amsterdam where people of all nationalities mix and live in the lovely 1930's style buildings. This is where you still find the authentic Amsterdam, unspoilt by mass tourism and yet to be completely gentrificated. Located near the fantastic Westerpark and the lovely Erasmuspark, where you can have your jog and your morning coffee. Very well connected with tram and bus. And within walking distance of the vibrant Oud-West ('Old-West') area, wich has everything you want: a fantastic local market (Ten Kate-markt), lot's of great restaurants, bar's, coffeeshops, supermarkets and the recent addition is the incredible hip De Hallen (The Halls), situated in an old factory it has a cinema, nice shops and a huge food market where you can eat everything from fresh sushi up to delicious hamburgers.
Our home is close to both the Sloterdijk train station (with direct connections to Schiphol) and within a few minutes of the city ring. In no time you'll be out of the city.
