More about us

  1. We are a family of three. Danielle (50), Richard (48),and Doris (17). Danielle works as a consultant in marketing and communications for a housing company. Richard is a artist in fine arts. We swapped houses before. In the summer 2010 we had our first experience in Santa Barbara, USA and enjoyed it very much.
After that we did exchanges with Spain, Amsterdam and New England.

For our next exchange in the summer we want to go to North America. NYC and New England.
But we are open to all destinations.

In the summertime we are available for a long exchange - 3 weeks. Shorter exchanges can be done in other schoolholidays.

We would also like an exchange for coming new year's eve 2018/2019

Where is it?

Forget Amsterdam, Rotterdam is the place to be in the Netherlands. We have the Euromast, the Markthal, the Rotterdambuilding by Rem Koolhaas. All special architectural buildings.
If you want to have a real dutch experience Rotterdam is the city to do so.

Our home is located in a quiet urban area only 5 minutes away from the big city centre with large number of shops, restaurants, bars and museums. For children this is a nice place to live. The biggest and most beautiful Zoo of the Netherlands (Blijdorp) is only a 10 minute walk. Lots of playgrounds in the area and also some nice parcs. Rotterdam is very centraly located. Amsterdam is one hour per train or car, The Hague is only 20 minutes away. But also Belgium is nearby, in approx. 1 hour you are in Antwerp or Bruges. We live near the trainstation and Rotterdam has also an international airport.
