About our home

Beautiful monumental house at the best place in the city of Deventer with a river view over the IJsel.
The house stems from 1901 with all monumentaal elements well kept and restored. Old ceilings, marmer in the hall, wooden floors.
The atmosphere in the house is light, modern and antique.
A library with old maps, travelbooks, lots of English books is yours.

There are 5 bicycles which can be used.
There is 1 golf cabriolet which can be used.
There is a fitness club card which can be used.

More about us

We are an active, sportive, social family of a father (47), mother (46), girl (14), girl (11).
We are close to our neighbours and they will help you if you need anything.
We love to read, go to cinema (only 5 min walk) and the famous Bookmarket of Deventer (August 1 2012).
We fell in love with Italy (Roma, Gaeta, Napoli).
We like to travel to different cultures.

The house forms with 5-10 houses the most beautiful houses of this ancient City Deventer.

We are 3 minutes walk away form the main square of the city (De Brink) where lots of restaurants are.
Every Friday morning and Saturday there is market with fresh fish, cheese, biologics foods, and flowers.
Only 2 minutes walk away from 2 good restaurants.
We have lots of books on Deventer, citywalks, maps and we will leave them in the library for you.
