About our home

WE ARE LOOKING FOR DIRECT OR INDIRECT SWAPS TO DEVON/CORNWALL FOR SUMMER 2020!

Our beautiful home sits on the edge of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park and is walking distance to the Vliegbasis Soesterberg Wildlife Park. Surrounded by trees and with its own private woodland area. It's a beautiful base from which to explore Utrecht, Amersfoort and the surrounding areas as well as being within easy reach of Amsterdam(40mins drive).

We bought the house 2 years ago and we've done a lot of renovation but it is ongoing, various rooms are being redecorated to match our new scheme. The house is 3 storeys with the top floor having been recently renovated to include a bedroom, study and a large family bathroom.

The Ground floor consists of a large living and dining room with working fireplace, a children's playroom/tv room and a newly modernised kitchen and laundry room.

The 1st floor has 2 king size bedrooms (one of which is an en-suite), a large children's bedroom and a smaller bedroom cum crafting room.

All floors have a wc.

In the garden you'll find a BBQ, trampoline, climbing frame, hammock and swing set as well as our bunny enclosure! On our sunny terrace there is a dining table which seats 6-8 people. In the evening sit round our fire pit and listen to the birds in the trees above. You may spot an owl or a greater spotted woodpecker. Behind our property the woodland continues and an early evening walk could have you spotting wild deer!

The house has a total of 2 king size beds, 1 mid height bunk, 1 high bunk, 2 single beds, 2 trundle beds and a good sized travel crib for infant to 2 years.

There are also 3 children's dining chairs and a high chair.

We are tied to school holidays and therefore our house is available on the dates as shown in the calendar as available. For direct swap we would need a minimum of 3 bedrooms to cater for our family of 5.

For points swap we ask a cleaning fee of 100-150Euro depending on numbers staying.
