About our home

Welcome to our home in a quiet friendly spacious neigbourhood , a suburb of Leeuwarden, capital of Friesland. Cultural capital of Europe in 2008.
Downtown is easily reached by car or bike (10-15 min) and just as easy you're out in nature. All kinda shops and restaurants are nearby. Even though we live in the town, we have our own driveway and front and backgarden, with big trampoline and nice seating areas.
So whether you like shopping, visiting musea or the islands, waterskiing or hiking in woods or in fields, everything is nearby.

We have two cats who will stay at home and we love to take care of your cats, if you have any. Bringing a dog won't work, unfortunately.
We just moved and in our former house we've done many (over 15) exchanges, which were all positive. Who would like to exchange with us this time?
We're sorry; no exchanges with Amsterdam (loved the ones we did, but wanna go elsewhere now)

Where is it?

Leeuwarden was Cultural Capital in 2018. Together with Groningen they are the biggest towns of the North of the Netherlands, known for it's space, fields, cows... and culture ( ; Whatever you like to do, you can do it from here. We live in a spacious friendly quiet neighbourhood, build in 2005 where every street has it's own signature. Lots of areas to play for all ages of kids, close to lakes and fields and of course downtown. In this part of town the bikes have priviliges over cars. Earnewoude, Appelscha, Bakkeveen, the islands, whether you want fields, woods, sanddunes, or islands, it's all within a half hour reach.
